Sign assist problem

Hello,

I have the following problem with the Sign Assist and RNS510 on an Passat Alltrack 2013 Germany version.

When the map (Europe East v13) is installed, the Sign Assist is not working. When I delete the map, sign assist is working.

Some background info
I upgraded the original firmware (4020) to 5238 josi version. The installed map is Europe East v13 version. Previously on RNS510 was installed only the Europe West map.

Previously to the firmware 5238 josi version, I had a firmware 4120 modified (HDD ratio 60/35/5) from www.rnsfirmware.com (http://www.rnsfirmware.com) and I had some problems during installation (as result, the BAP protocol was unchecked, the RNS skin was changed to Highline from Premium). After installation of 5238 josi firmware the BAP was checked with a VCDS 15.7.

Please advice how to solve this problem with the Sign Assist and Europe East v13 map.

Unfortunately we don't have sign assist here in Australia as far as I am aware on the B7 platform.
I'd advise seeking some assistance on the vwnavi or gpsunderground forums where there are more European members.

until now no solution for this issue.

According to my knowledge, the sign assist is intentionally blocked in some areas. I do not understand why sign assist is working with no map loaded and not working with a map loaded. If the system “see” via gps and map that you are in a "forbidden" area, the sign assist become not functional. A Skoda guy with a VCDS "succeed" to use the sign assist... The key is to find a method to break the "bug", and i think we need Regensburg syndrome for the above presented method.
If somebody have the 4020H factory version of rns510 firmware (including Regensburg syndrome) please give us a link.
Also, if you find any solution please distribute it.

I know... delete the australian maps and most probably, you could have sign assist, but not both in the same time :-)
