Custom Exhaust

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Exhaust shops in Brisbane? I want to get a 3 inch dump pipe into a 2.5 or 3 inch exhaust. I don't really see the point in ordering off the shelf exhausts when its probably cheaper to get one custom made that will do the same job. Any advice is appreciated.

'Probably cheaper' means you haven't done any research what so ever.

Check eBay, check dubaddiction, ring around.

But I don't know of anyone who doesn't have an off the shelf dump pipe... Just costs to much in labour to create one from scratch.

Ebay Golf GTI exhausts are cheap as. No need to go custom there. Sub $200 for a 3 inch catless, have a cat put in it.

Polo GTI different story.

I paid $180 or so landed for a Catless 3" DP from america on eBay.
I just used a grinder to clean up the step between the flange and the pipe and turbo so it was smoother . but otherwise. seems fine :)
