I've got one too-they're genuine VAG.

Do they come in silver or just the dark grey black?

$72 is not cheap at all off vagparts plus shipping. Part No: 6Q0857465C1QB

I'll try and get something up later in the week. Only one colour. Good quality and looks like it was meant to be there. Check out eBay, I think I paid around $45 plus freight (but got an armrest at the same time)

Very handy storage, my GPS normally lives there. Only problem is if you cram too much stuff in there it'll close but you'll have pry it open. It's push-to-open like the ash tray, when it's full the push to open sometimes wont work.

I have one. It is OK quality and pretty handy. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I am replacing it in about a weeks time with a custom carbon fibre Boost Guage Pod. This will fill that space with something realy usefull and looks OEM. I have had the prototype in and it looks great. It is shaped and angled towards the driver similar to the FPV pods.

I will post pictures as soon as it is in. Might have a few extra made up after the pics if anybody is interested. Will be pretty pricey as it is real carbon fibre. The 1st one including the prototype and mould is costing me a fortune but I was not happy untill I found something that looked both classy as well as cool.

Yup, also got one from VAGparts. The colour is fine, personally think it would look odd in silver. You get used to it. It is kinda plasticy, maybe thats why VW didn't spec the GTI with it.

These guys have a fair few bits for Polo's

Shipping from them can take a while though, little bit cheaper than VagParts.

I have dealt with these guys (VAGTEAM) on Ebay and my advice is DONT! A lot of their gear is substandard cheap imitations. I bought a centre armrest for my 9N GTI which they guaranteed was the right colour and guess what - IT AINT!! I reported them to Ebay/Paypal who investigated and found in my favour, however I am yet to see a cent of my hard earned $ returned for this piece of S*!t BE WARY WITH THESE GUYS
