VW Reaches 25K Sales in 11 Months

One Year off of target but in the first 11 months of 2007 VW have sold 25,040 units.

Way back in 2002 VW set a goal of 25,000 unit sale by 2006 and also Renault with a 20 Million dollar advertising campaign aimed to sell 20,000 units by 2007 YTD Renault sales are a measly 2636 units.

When I bought my new Jetta one of the cars I looked at was the top of the range Renault Megane sedan.
I thought the Volkswagen was far superior in every respect.

well done people ! I have to admit, however, that I do like Renault also and it would be great to see the make sell more of the upcoming Clio here in Australia. I'm a VW person but I do like the small Renaults. They're great and bring some French charme across, I think.

I had a Renault once and NEVER AGAIN! The stupid thing spent more time at the machanics then on the road!!
