im searching with mixed reviews if a 9inch wide (+42) rim will fit on my R36 Wagon, some say yes and some say definitely not.

does anyone have any experience with this topic on their car?

Are you looking at the Bentley GT 9 spoke wheels

Rears I think would be fine, would be close to the shocks at that offset but i think there is still room

Fronts and not so sure though

Yep. Thinking about it.

Any progress on your wheel choices, do the 9's manage to fit easily?
Am thinking of the 9" width also for 08 wagon..

Hey mate, ive got 9.5 rears and 8.5 fronts, 44 offset i think, when i get a chance tomorrow and double check! 245/35 tyres
Cars lowered on h&r springs
Scrubs on the rear with a few passengers or big bumps, its not to bad though... ive only had them on a week and i generally drive like a nanna so i don't know how they go when you give it a bit....i cant upload pics for some reason sorry... (they're on a 36 wagon)

Thanks mate. I'm running same springs too. After more research it seems others have fitted the exact same wheels with no real issues so I'm confident they will be ok. I'm going to run a 235/35 tyre.

Yeah you should be fine, it'll probably scrub on the occasion... i wouldn't worry though haha

Nice work mate, look forward to you confirming the offsets and tyres etc.. Assuming there on 19's?
Do you know any limitations on tyres and offsets for 20's on the wagon? If it's pushing too far might have to stick to 19's...

I'll let you know as soon as I fit them. In my searching I saw some guy running 20's with 245 tyres so it's possible.

Yeah sorry they're 19's and offset is 43! and yep 245 35 tyres.
20's would be a tight fit but it has been done...
I remember seeing a white one carsales a few weeks ago with Simmons 20" it may still be for sale

Looking forward to seeing Benzene's Bentleys

Yeah pretty happy with them, deffinatley something different on an r36, there off an older s600 merc i believe... 19s are a perfect size for the arc of the guards and the offset is still practical IMO.

Im keen to see these bentley wheels too! Seen some on a Golf R but they stuck out an Inch! No idea how it drove haha

Thanks. Funny enough I found them on eBay by accident. The offset is in fact 41 not 42. I probably could of run a 245 tyre as well but i use it for Mobile Detailing as well so I do load up the back occasionally. Plus if I decide to bag it the 235 is a better option.

Bags hey geez that'd be sweet, have you looked into the cost for them? Was chatting with a mate & seems to think it isn't that much, less than coil overs but would be interested to hear more from someone in the know... Also do you guys have any idea as to what these wheels are on the new Golf R Wagon biturbo? I'd like those on my wags! http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/forums/images/imported/2015/09/99e7f3c091e0922ccddc872728d206ed-2.jpg

I'm running 20x8.5" Lexani's +35 offset with Pirelli 235/30 tyres. Not lowered but sits nice as it is and no scrubbing, ride is comfortable too.

Nice one mate, do you have a pic you can share?
Yeah those wheels on the golf R wagon have me stumped.. Hope someone can shed some light.
Anyone had or know of Stance Wheels in the U.S. ? Looks like came to Aus via Ozzy but they now only have one style.. Any info on these would be appreciated..

@Benzene - How are the Bentleys rolling mate, are you finding any rubs on current setup?

@DRR0R36 - how are yours travelling a few weeks on now, any more rubs or still "driving like a nanna"' [emoji13]

All good mate. Loaded it up over the weekend and no rubbing. I'd like it a touch lower but I won't be touching it unless I go bags. The kit I want is 2650usd ++++

I ran Stance SC-6 on my liberty wagon, they were a great wheel, bought them through Ozzy's and certainly no complaints.

I'll snap a quick photo today of the 36
