Hello Dubbers

This is my first post, so hope its OK

I'm only had my R36 for a week or so but i have been reading into them a lot and getting some cool ideas.
I have come from a Holden LS 1 back round and my last performance car was a low 11 sec Ute. in saying this i like to mod my cars a little if they can be ;)

Anyway here is my attempt at doing a Ram Air style intake for the R36, i got the idea from the following thread:
http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/forums/f27/custom-r36-cold-air-ram-intake-almost-$0-diy-small-fee-get-done-105063.html

i wanted mine to look a little more stock, smooth and cost didn't really matter to much. i was looking to keep the stock parts and just modify them to create the intake. i have only played with the centre section which is the one with the dual air defector, which also causes some of the engine temp to go into the air intake.
its along the same lines as blocking the lower section to stop hot air mix and seal to just front cold air. Then create a ramp to direct the air to the intake join section.

i knocked this up this weekend and next weekend i hope to get the body filler onto it to make it all smooth and ultimately make it look as factory as possible, inside and out.

i have created a photo bucket album to show all the pics as there is around 50, as a step by step process on what i did to create it so far.

Any questions or comments welcome

cheers paul
