Hi guys I have a 2010 passat I want to swap the head unit with one that has an inbuilt head unit. How do I go about it? Is it a straight swap?

If you want navigation then yes a RNS510 is a straight swap but need to fit GPS antenna and code to car to get GPS on dash display

Where would I be able to find a Gps head unit? Also how much are they going for?

If you only want it for GPS you would be far better off buying a Tomtom or similar with lifetime free maps. For $250 you will have uptodate maps for ever (more or less).
Against a VW unit that has maps that are up to two years out of date with a clunky interface that doesnt have full text to speech directions and will cost a $1000+ .

Only thing in its favour its built in and has not a bad multimedia system..

I only have one cos it was in the car when I bought it Never again, the GPS part is rubbish

I prefer to have one built in but would like to know if anyone is selling one or atleast know where to buy one from.
