I have found a rear lower gti sway bar for $130 and electronic ignition for $150.

How big is the sway bar? If it is smaller than 28mm then dont bother as you will need two of anything that is smaller than 28mm to make it stick to the road like it should. But I would buy it from the guy for sure. Anything is an imporvement over nothing. (Unless you are buying a MK2 coz they should all be free when you buy a MK1. I am now covering my head with my hands as I await the torrent of burning replys! Heh heh)

Rear sway bar is standard mk1 gti, so whatever size that came in from the factory.

The last set of anti roll bars I bought back from UK cost me 210 UK pounds in 2000. They were new Eibach bars, 28 rear, 25 front ( from memory ) add import costs and then see if your price above is OK.

From rusty memory the std GTi rear bar is a piddling 16 mm..

Yeh and I've tried them all.
28 is too big for street, when it rains you will be facing the other direction.
24 is street max believe me.
Tim likes them cos he's got the talent. :P in the rain
