VCDS - mirror fold on car lock

Is there a VCDS code that allows the mirrors to automatically fold in when I lock the car? Or is this a standard function which i have no idea about? '09 R36

While we're at it what other cool things can we do with the VCDS / VAGCOM cable? I have very limited knowledge on the use

Are you sure the R36 even has folding mirrors fitted to start with? Im 99% sure it doesnt

Yeah they fold, not sure about how to do it on lock.

If they are like the Golf mirrors, the module on the door motor would determine whether they can autofold. Mine cant be set to auto fold without and update to a later revision of firmware. Currently, I haven't updated due to too many projects on the burner. There is a thread on the vwgolf.net.au forum that went into part numbers for MK5/6/7 cars

Yes they definitely fold in on all R36's.

to activate the auto-fold on locking the car you need to buy the dongle which plugs into the CANBUS socket and leave in there for as long as you want that feature active
