I'm hoping so! I take it you've done the progression course?

What was it like? What activities did you do? Did they waste much time in a classroom talking about theory? Or was it mostly about the driving? :)

Did progression a a couple of years ago and Evolution last year. Assuming the format doesn't change much you put in a small group (6ish) who share two cars and move from one activity to the next. The theory is given to you on the go. There was one classroom session in Evo last year but it was certainly not a waste of time.

The session then culminates with a couple of laps where you put it all together.

Doing Evo again this year if anyone else is going along.

Did progression last year and wanted to do evolution this year but it sold out so fast.
Seems there are fewer evolution spots available than last year too.

The format this year has changed from previous years and you no longer have an instructor sitting in the car beside you the whole time. This means less time wasted with driver changes and more bum in seat time for everyone.

There's still a few tickets for the Brisbane event and some discount codes kicking around if anyone needs one.

I did the progression course at Lakeside last year. Has awesome time and liked it so much i booked the evolution course at Sydney motorsport park. Highly recommended!

Well that was amazing.
Learnt a lot in regards to handling and alignment.
Also totally changed how I sat in my car.

In the skid pans, just floor it and go hard haha, almost spun it but that was the point. (:

Was impressed with the Scirocco R in regards to corning.

Was brilliant fun man haha.
Wish I could do it again, the cones course was awesome, really proved looking ahead makes a difference with technical work.

Yes, it was a Pace car, with the instructors.
They also had one on the rear.

It was amazing! I didn't get to go fast in my Golf R lap because the last car was lagging behind.

Our second round after a driver swap hit 185 going down the main straight :)

Will definitely go back and do the evolution next year!

I was there on Thursday morning and it MAY have been me who did the power drift around the top of the circuit... :)

We had a couple of 'not quite-so-fast' people in front of us in the Golf R laps and I reckon we could have easily overtaken them (imagine being stuck at 120k's down the main straight)...

Overall I thought it was an excellent day - even have a bit of sunburn to remind me.

EDIT: just checked the video - top speed in the Scirocco = 151k's, in the Golf R = 148k's
