URGENT HELP - Buying Passat but has VCDS ERROR

Hi Guys,

Looking at locking in a deal real soon.

Have had an inspection today and has the following error:

Initial Scan showed the following FAULT
15 | 37 - Navigation FAULT | 1
5 | 09 - Cent. Elec FAULT |1
9 | 17 - instruments FAULT | 1
10 | 19 - CAN Gateway FAULT | 2



Radio - Sporadic 004 - no signal/communication

OI300 - Control module for navigation with cd-rom J401 - Sporadic 004 - no signal/communication


That's all the information I have.

In terms of what the car comes with...
Options are:
Dynaudio, GPS, Aftermarket bluetooth that pairs with RNS510, Sunroof

Errors I currently know of is 1 blown parker light bulb

Any help at all is appreciated!!!

The information you have posted doesn't give enough to go on.

Your sporadic on signal could be someone disconnecting the radio with the ignition on.

You should clear all codes and see what comes back and then post the full fault description that comes off VCDS.

Likely codes weren't cleared after someone was playing with the radio, as said nothing to overly be concerned about.
