I'm selling my Wavetrac LSD Sean. I'm not sure it'll fit into your car though? If it does let me know and I'll do special price ;)
Hi Allen
This might be interesting for my girl??
If it doesn't work out for Sean...

G'day Barry I'm afraid it sold fairly quickly. Probably had it too cheap. I'd certainly recommend an LSD for your beast.

a clip from last Thursday Time Attack.
in some of my clips, some runs were like just me on the track.
in the run below, it was really just me, just by myself and no other cars :D
the track was mine for the whole run!

I'm too bummed with my performance to talk about it. One of the three of us did a PB, so good on him. I finished first in points in my class for the day and 2nd overall in the series, so I'm happy about that. Next year I'll win it and do a sub-60 ;)

Ben, nothing to be overly bummed at. You've got the data to validate your modifications, so it's all heading in the right direction. The wind picked up significantly in the arvo which hinders speed down the straight.
I had a good day, the car is running really well now and feeling good. Despite the heat, I got a new PB for its current set-up at 63.34, a 0.34 improvement. Since last time I've had more camber added to the front left (an extra 1 degree, now at -3.8 deg) and the training out at Morgan Park helped with some lines. I felt that I wasn't over driving the car into corners and was braking later/more progressive. I'd now like more power to get me out of Karousel (do we spell it the german way??) and also down the straight, but given the open diff it's really about as much power as is reasonable.
There's a 62 second lap in it, will need the right conditions and was taking eastern loop a bit tighter on entry than usual which I don't think was quite ideal. Still needing to man up a bit more for entering the straight, there's an easy half a second there between committed and crazy, I need more crazy. :cookie:

i need to go crazy for next year 😈
my 2015 was short by 6 points, beaten by an evo (think it is heavily modified? got camber and the fmic looks aftermarket) and early in 2015 i was not focusing on lap times but more on getting used to the car, tested the stock brakes to the limit and measured the improvements from a virtually stock (tune and penrite brake fluid only) car and made progress with minimal mods (could be considered lukewarm & mild mods) and some training.
anyway, I'll be back!

Just looked at my data again, on that PB lap I ballsed up eastern loop and dropped ~0.3s (from my better laps) in that sector alone. That "sector" is from half way between hungry and eastern and half way down the other side, so only a small sector of ~10s. Add a 10th or two variability in other sectors and I'm comfortably into 62's.
That one perfect lap hey

Mad TT - new participants are always welcome and encouraged.
Not the best or fastest lap, but one that I recorded both video and data.

I welcome any suggestions.
I was looking over my lap distance yesterday, this lap was ~15m longer than my fastest of the day and more than my average lap distance. In saying that, this lap was amongst the fastest first half, up to entering hungry. I was 3/10's slower through hungry (you can hear the wheel spin on exit) comparing to my quickest, which was still not a great run through hungry, had my quickest run of the day through eastern loop though was one of my slowest through turn 6 onto the straight.
There's half a second in hungry and another half a second in turn 6 run onto the straight, plus some tweaks elsewhere, but they are the main ones from this lap. Of late, hungry has been a big improvement for me and typically consistent. So, turn 6 you sexy SOB, come to daddy.

TimeAttack is one of the best track events you can do as a starter in QLD. each group is capped at 10 cars, plenty of space (most of the time) to learn, practice and get addicted [emoji1]
overtaking rules are very strict too.
often when you see the lap times at timeattack runs, the bottom 5 cars sometimes do laps times that would be in the top 5 of other events (like qr street sprints).
