meet up times and info for DOVW! VIC.

For those of us who were on here last year, we will meet up quite early in the morning on DOVW for the cruise to the Cranbourne race course.
i thought that last years meet point was quite good as it was a good car park and easy to find for all.

So here goes:

Sunday 25th November
9am gates open for car show entry
meet point at Essex Heights Oval, cnr of Huntingdale rd and Essex rd near Volkspower (any objections?)
meet up at around 8am as it takes a good 30mins odd to get out to cranbourne and we want to avoid all the VW traffic at the gates
bring plent of sunscreen, food, chairs, CAMERA! and money


im open to suggestions, last years cruise and DOVW was a fantastic day had by all, and it would be great to see our numbers increase this year asit was a fantastic chowing by the watercooled scene last year

Man we should try and get a shelter thingo... Bring TV's, eskies, tables, anything and every thing and have a huge set up :D

Something to keep yourselves entertained sounds good cos it is a long day. I dont think there is any great need for banners or anything. Just a nice sticker on every members car will be a nice subtle promotion for any enthusiasts that dont already know.

as far as shelter goes. it would want to be secured to the ground quite well. you wouldnt want it to blow away in the wind and damage someones car.

and yeah i have a about 8 stickers left.

even if you dont enter your cars into the judging its still possible to park them inside the grounds amongst the other similar cars i believe.
