Noob Brake Pad Question

Hello all. I purchased these front pads off ebay (cheap and nasty).I have a VR6 but im concerned they may be for a GTI VR6 (is there such different)?Awkward face*Thank you

What's important is the contact area, they both look to be the same. As long as they fit and you can put it all back together how it was before there should be no problem.
Did a bit of searching and didn't find a difference, same pads showed up for the VR6 and GTI.
