So as well as new brakes, new tyres are needed. Have had asymmetricals for about 4 years, which have served me well. But cannot really find them for less than 1k fitted.
Just booked in for 4 x...

Looks like I’ll give the dba rotors and Remsa pads a go. 450 delivered for front and back seems pretty good?how many hours labour should be charged to change them all?
Thanks for the links Etc that...
Oh no. 50/50 now. Anyone else with any experience?
Thanks for that. Maybe not those ones then:-)
Would the Dba Street series rotors and Remsa pads be sufficient from brakes direct? Any opinions?gti daily driven, rarely any spirited driving, just to and from work.
Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like overseas is a no go.
No reason for genuine, just figured they seem to have done the job for 115ks,they can’t be too bad :-)
Hi. Car coming up to 115ks,brakes starting to get noisy. Any ideas where to pick up genuine rotors and pads for front and back at a reasonable price? (Ecs was just shy of 1k) surely it’s not going to...
Nice one!
Haha,I'm guessing it's a bad idea then.
HAha cheers may steer clear of a demo
Yeah ok. Might be do-able then. Any reservations in buying a demo r?most likely been flogged for the first 2000ks?
Haha cheers.

Just wondering what people think a brand new/demo dsg MK7 golf r may be able to be snapped up for over the next six months?
Is sub 50 drive away going to be possible now that the 7.5 is out?
No previous accident as far as we know. Just seems odd as even if she accelerated she couldn't have travelled for more than a metre....
Hi.
Just wondering if this should have happened.
My partner was stopped at some lights behind another car, got distracted and took her foot off the brake and the car went forward (dsg) into another...
The mechanic has ordered the clip for wastegate rattle. Hopefully that's what it is and solves the problem.
ryeman, when I say off acceleration I maybe didn't explain that well.
Say I'm in d mode going up a slight incline at 80kmh the car will be in d6/d7 if I take my foot off the pedal I get the...
Thanks tuan.
I did come across that thread.
It is similar, but makes the noise when taking foot off the accelerator under load sometimes . Would wastegate rattle do this?
Anybody....? (please)
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas....
My GF's 2013 90 TSI DSG, was overdue for a service and she also pointed out a noise to me. Took it to the local specialist for a service, within 20...
