It's the "fog of war." You need to explore more of your surroundings to reveal more of the map. Or launch a UAV.
It works. I use one myself. It can't read some of the latest modules, but they're not something I need to get into anyways.
Oh look, Traffic Jam Assist is actually listed in the specs. I wonder if they'll leave it enabled.
When copying to the SD card, can we omit everything except the Australia (and system) folders? Or is it all or nothing?
Make sure you and your wife master the driver profiles.
I got an earful from mine when she couldn't figure out how to get the digital speed to display on the active info display...
Dang, is it too late now?
I'm sure that there are a few forums members here with VCDS who'd be willing to help out with any coding changes you need.
I used Android Auto in a Golf R, but it might work with CarPlay too:

Somebody started a thread on that forum in April to notify the webmasters about the captcha, but nothing has been done since.
There are still plenty of recent posts being made by (already...
Is DAB+ even an option these days?
VCDS (or OBDEleven) can change the coding so that the DRL becomes a menu item in the radio that you can turn on/off.

Is there a separate fuse for the headunit memory? Have you tried factory defaulting all settings in the headunit? Or try rebooting it (hold down power button for 30 seconds or something)?
When I reverse out of my driveway, a bush on the side triggers the sensors to beep at me, and the steepness of the driveway sometimes (maybe 1 out of 1o times) triggers the manuver braking to bring...
I use Penrite Enviro+ 5W-30. Meets VW 504/507 requirements. This is superior to the 502/505 standard, and AFAIK only comes in 5W-30.
Maybe factory-fitted TJA is different from the aftermarket TJA you can get here? Maybe different parameter sets or something.
I'll go for a drive tonight/tomorrow and confirm some things.
No I know exactly what I mean. Both the lane guidance lines and ACC icon remain green regardless on whether I have reached 67km/h.
I used this feature just a few weeks ago when I was leaving an...
In my Golf R I can activate ACC at speeds equal to or greater than 30km/h, and TJA will be activated, even if I don't reach 67km/h. I sometimes take advantage of TJA on surface streets, where the...
I'd be pretty pissed if after a service my car came back with less features than it left the factory with.
If you had OBD11 Pro couldn't you just manually use the long coding to set the start/stop voltage threshold?
Isn't the exhaust crackle an option on APR tunes?
Oh, unfortunately the dynamic LED tail coding is different from the standard tails.
I do. I posted it around here somewhere.

How about getting rid of the "look! safe to move?" line when using the rear camera or parking sensors?
