I highly recommend taking the effort to take the door actuators out and soldering them. Worked perfectly for me on all 3 doors that needed it at the time (4th is only just showing slight signs now)....

I agree with the theory, and like the silver and black combo, but do that with any other parts but the rub strips.. The rub strips are a blight on the MK4 landscape!!

Hey Jonesy, It'll depend on which model car you have, they might have 2 button or 3 button remotes, the older ones have a slightly more rounded button in the middle, and the later ones the buttons go...
