1. If one was to consider every driving pattern out there then it would never happen. You have to have a baseline otherwise any analysis is simply redundant. Always best to use official figures ;)

I'm always interested in this fuel economy debate as we all love to save $$ so we can spend elsewhere.
So lets assume each vehicle (GTD & GTI) does 20 000km per year.
I'll base calcs on VW's...
C'mon guys we're all here because we love our Golfs - regardless of how many doors. Can't we just agree to disagree please and get back to modding, tweaking, and havin fun? :)

Have been thinking about the so-called sludge issue.
I guess I have 2 schools of thought - obviously the first immediate one was don't let a tank get below half (which at best is impratical esp....
No squealing here just yet :)
Cheers Walker.
Some interesting info there - though the "breaking in" info contradicts VW's own manual. So who to believe? there are 2 definite schools of thought here - one is take first 1500k...

Have to disagree with you there :) I now have a Euro car for the fraction of the price :) try buying an Audi / Merc / BMW etc with same features at same cost.
Just my uninformed 0.02c worth inc....
Factory reset is in the extras option. :)
Cheers mate :D
As do I! The first 1000K was from Adelaide to Coober Pedy anyway so not really much of an opportunity to do anything (SA cops!!)

Got up to 190km/h at one stage...
Hi all,
Well finally my baby arrived at Solitaire Autos in Adelaide. Sadly REVO flash not done as no REVO file for my model (latest file is a 2008 one and REVO had a 2006 one :( )
What a car!!!...
$900 for some maps?????? Thats outrageous. I understand though that the RNS can take a flash memory card - so there must be another way to upload maps etc.
Which raises a good question though - can you update the maps & how?
