[QUOTE=nat225;1093215]I am willing to bet with my big HUG against all your heavily geared 4 Brisbane rental properties + your tracktor Range Rover Evoque that you would not say a word or even a...
I sold my 2011 GTI in Feb with only 22kms for $28.5k within a day of advertising it. Granted it was sometime ago and the market has moved on a bit, so all these prices in the high $20s are plain...
I must have set a new record when I sold the GTI in Feb. Asked $30k, sold it for $28.5k in one day.
Granted it was still under new car warranty and only had 22k. Could have got more but what is a...
Will it still be $200 for my Rangie?
As a benchmark, I sold my 2011 white GTI DSG with 18s (no other options) which had 22kms for $28.5k in Feb. As yours is a manual, it will be worth less and probably have a much narrower market...
If that was the case you and all other buyers would have bought a VW which at least does not pretend to have prestige car aspirations like its four ring cousin stablemate.
I would rather push my Range Rover than be caught dead in an Audi (oops I mean VW with leather!)
Sure, better bring a jerry can in case your petrol tiggy runs out of petrol! I on the other hand, will have diesel power!
If you think the S3 has a nice interior, you haven't sat in my Range Rover which is superior in every way. Heck my GTi looks better than those pretend retro dials. If you buy an Audi, like Lexus, you...
For the reasons below why Golf R will be preferred
1. Cheaper servicing which is capped. Also cheaper parts prices and cheaper extended warranty and insurance
2. A least the R is not pretending...
Yeah mate - the MY14 specs all use 9 spd boxes. First in the world. On the highway at 100km/h, it only gets to gear 8 so i assume 9 is some very tall overdrive gear. I do miss the GTI though - I...
I sold my Golf GTI for a Range Rover. Old man in me said it was more sensible to have a diesel SUV as oppose to a fast hatchback.
why a new mechatronic unit ? I thought the 6 spd was pretty reliable?
Will be there in a Chelsea Tractor (not a German one though!)
I second that. being also of Asian heritage, it all comes down to the dollars and cents and the value for money proposition. That is what our culture is built on. Case in point
1. My sister bought...
I opted for a Range Rover this time - for the money, another hot hatch like the A45 or R was a little hard to justify against the value of the Rangie
Which in any event, adds very little to the final price when used
short answer, no.....
Can get 2013 plates new for about $5-$6k off and the warranty is from the day you take it.
At $31k, they probably paid $23k for it....
I went with CBA - but only because of my relationship with the bank and my diamond status it was cheaper than all the majors. But that won't apply to all. Might be worth checking with your financial...
At least I won't run out of petrol getting there.... Oops I mean diesel!! :P
My sister bought one in Brisbane new 2013 plate in white for $30,800
Will come in my new toy
GTI will always be a faster car and probably easier to live with long term. Plus the GTI is German built whereas A3 is from Hungry. Personally, you only buy Audi for the badge, but if you really want...
