Hah, yeah I'm sure grip will be the limiting factor pretty quickly. Maybe I'll go to some 17x10s on the front
Hey all,
Used to be active here a bit back in 2012 when I had a pretty tidy little 9N3 Pog with a bunch of Jmac treats. Sold it and moved to the UK for a while then back to Aus about two years...
I guess it depends on your application. I got the feeling from my experience that the limiting factor in how low you could go was more to do with guard clearance than anything else. These were well...
Hey guys,
Selling a set of KW V1 basic coilovers for a 9N3 Polo GTI.
They were bought mid last year from DPM Performance, and were on the car for approximately 12 months. As such, they've...
Please someone buy that and make this happen.
Yeah.. Deposit taken. Thanks Stewart.
Haha thanks jimmy - got caught up thinking about the car and forgot the price part. First post updated.
Greg, if you're up before February I should still be around. How'd that coffee go, anyhow?
Sold thanks
Hey Clay late to confirm I know, sorry, but mechanical gremlins are rearing their ugly heads and I now will be unable to attend. Cheers.
Maybe you should put the engine and Quattro drivetrain from the S3 in the Polo.
:P
Thanks Sean. And yeah, pretty stoked actually. I was unsure how the 8" wide et32 wheels would fit but they're actually about perfect because of the resultant stretch with the 205 wide tyres (too poor...
Haven't updated this in ages nor have I taken any photos of it, but anyway...
New wheels, along with bigger brakes/FMIC etc etc and a bunch of stuff you can't see from the outside..
New photos...
No real dish but a touch of concave in the way the spokes arc into the hub. Took some photos today anyway so these might demonstrate the fit better:

They're not super light at 9.5kg but the TT rims were a massive 13.5kg each as per my workshop scales.
Got my tyres swapped over and my wheels on. Stoked!
Also 4kg/corner lighter.
They look better (i.e. longer) than the ones I had. By all reports the Mondeo ones work so they should be good.
Be wary of going with short drop links on the KWs.. Because they have the revised mounting tab to account for the altered ride height, it's pretty easy to go too short. I thought I needed short links...
Yeah it was a bit of a gamble to be honest. If worst comes to absolute worst ill sell them or go s2000 Polo guards :P
Finally got my wheels yesterday so test fit today and got bolt holes drilled to accept 14mm bolts. Just need to get some taper seat bolts to suit now. Only bolts I could find locally are too long.

Yep that was me. Thanks dude. Poor thing was filthy.
Such a shame this is a Sunday. I would have loved to bring the Clio.
Please add me to the list/put me down on the reserve list. Very keen.
