Hey everyone. Looking to borrow a maf to test my issues before I buy a new one. Can anyone help? Thanks.
I am interested. I'm happy to drive down and swap and drive back up. Got pics?
How much for the forge dv ??
Ok well unplugging the maf doesn't make a difference. Does that mean the maf is dead or does that mean it's not the maf?
il be in london next week and it will fit in my luggage
Found this cheap and can get free shipping.

Yeah it's been running fine for months. Miss started last week, no error codes apart from the normal one for the dodgy air con motor.
hey everyone, my gti has been coughing and spluttering when ever it gets over 6psi and occasionally coming onto boost, i have already replaced the igniter booster box (bosch 0227100211) and fitted...
Yeah I found one on eBay for $60 +postage. Il try cleaning it tonight and see what happens, thanks everyone.
Yeah the afm and maf are the same thing. Thank you
Hi, my beetle misses horribly all the time and the only time I can get it to run properly is when I disconnect the afm, I'm happy to just leave it unplugged permanently but the problem is that with...
I was actually talking about from 100 up. But it's good to know that I don't need to waste the money. She's looking at other cars now.
lol, our unmarked cars up here are all aurions and lancers, the commodores are too slow. the only reason i asked is that my wifes old car used to beat them and if the beetle doesnt after spending...
I'm looking at flashing my wifes beetle but not sure if it's actually worth while, so if you get a chance can you find a ve ss commodore to have a race with and let me know how it goes, thanks in...
Weld it together or go buy a pair of flanges and weld them on, but there is already a flange there so just but weld them together
a firend of mine came up from sydney for it (i think he has a hyundai rally car??) thats the only reason i knew it was on.
the problem with that is that i dont have a working stock diverter and im not paying $180 for one from vw or $50+ on ebay just to have it fall apart again. i will look into getting the plumback kit...
im hoping some one can help, based on the weight of the car i think we are aiming for about 200 hp. i doubt the bov is doing any damage as it actually has improved the running on the ocasions that it...
I'm measuring the vacuum with a vacuum guage, to me that looks like the valve is stuffed, the whole time I've had the car it has run like ****, my wife is learning to deal with the utterly redicilous...
currently everything is hooked up as per stock except for the atmospheric blow off valve replaceing the diverter valve. There is no vacuum coming out of the n249 about 90% of the time. So n249 = teh...
I may has mis labeled the n249 and n75 backwards in previous posts. Can't remember what one is what. From now on il just say wastegatr valve and boost control valve. I put a t piece into a vac guage...
Well at random intervals the n75 valve doesnt show any Vacuum so time for it to be removed. So watch this space for progress after removing any valves under the bonnet that the ecu controls.
Jmac....
