I have not faced any DSG jerks during any of the situations.
When you stop on a hill and then start do you use the autohold feature? The autohold is a much better option than trying to hold the car ...
Please give an account of the circumstances under which it happened.I will try to replicate the situation and see if it happens on my car
I too had the same question last year but went ahead and bought the 132 TSI last year(October) and have done over 6000Km with no issues at all.I bought the extra 2year warranty as well so nothing to...
Test drive the normal 132 TSI and the Rline version on a bumpy road and decide which one suits you better. If your regular route is not agreat road you might be better off minus Rline.
You should get in touch with NSW fair trading and they will advise you how to handle this.I had an issue with my Peugeot 308 which was over 5 years old had done only 40000Km.The vehicle was always...
The car is pretty good at recognizing speed signs along the road and adjusting speed up or down if you are on cruise control
Please post some photos!. Would like to see your cable route!
Hi Hillbilly,

Thanks Hillbilly.Do you think the hardwired arrangement will give about 6~7 hrs of park-mode operation?Since the camera will have a motion detector, actual camera operation may be 3~4 hrs depending...
Are you using a battery drain protection kit for hardwiring the dash cam? If yes, what is the cut-off voltage setting on the kit?
Thanks Snala for a good writeup of your experience.Does the 206 have autodimming headlights?
Did you test drive the 132 Comfortline? The 206 has an adaptive suspension,AWD and a bigger engine other than these 3 features the rest is all same for 132 and they are about 10k cheaper.
It is...
I could not see Comfort option in the Driver Profile of my Passat (132 TSI Comfortline). Don’t the Australian Passats have DCC (Adaptive Chasis Control) required for the Comfort mode?
One thing the MY17 Passat lacks is the 360 degree Area View feature that would have made tight manoeuvres a lot easier Otherwise it is a very nice car that has got all the bells and whistles.
Nearly same pinch except that mine is Sedan and has got Rline and Luxury pack.Feeling few bumps on the road, don't you think the R-line rides a bit firm?
Much depends on how important the "clearance" criterion is.If you need it on a regular basis for going off road or for ease of parking anywhere, then it is a fairly straight forward decision.
As...
There were lot of differences between Passat and R36.With Passat having stepped up with B8 the differences have narrowed down a lot. That is why I am wondering if it will hit the required numbers.
The 132 TSI Comfortline is a great car and has got enough power for normal use.So I doubt whether there will be enough buyers for the 206!
Why if you would care to elaborate?
Tigger I think you are spot on with your assessment there.Tiguan has a large fan base and they are looking to cash on that at least for the short term.If things do not work out they can always cut...
Is there any tangible benefit for the 206 TSI over the current 132 TSI for the extra 10K other than AWD and 1 sec headstart?
How long has the Passat 132 TSI been around? Has anyone on here had any issues with its DSG?
So no LED head lights and memory seats for the 132 Comfortline?Good enough reasons not to buy it!
What is the earliest we can get a MY17 manufactured in 2017?
