I thought the early model DSG were a problem because of the sealed gear boxes. The 5.2 T5 are ok as you can change the oil and filter access. My 7 Speed DSG 2014 T5 4 motion is a dream to drive.

Only time will tell that they have fixed it with the "D" suffix. An EGR with a "C" suffix still suffers the same problem.

Not as yet, been busy pulling it apart and cleaning it and fixing things up how i like it. I'm surprised how filthy this thing is after 2 years.
