FYI I just got in touch with VW to update my details. I asked if they could confirm if my vehicle (MY10.5 R36 Wagon) was affected by the recall and the answer was yes and that I would be contacted.
VW have published a list of affected models

Not an easy fix at all as ramp over is the issue.
Ramp over is the issue not approach or departure angle. Not much I can do about it unfortunately besides kick the Mrs out at the top of the driveway....
See my thread about nearly ripping out my tailshaft carrier bearing on my driveway.
So I moved about a year ago and discovered on settlement day that the R36 bottoms out coming into the driveway from the street.
The drive is quite a steep downhill and the entrance from the...

Hi All,
I've had an R36 for some time and I love it! In the market for something a bit bigger with growing kids and saw one of these beast drive past the other day and thought it would be a happy...

Will PM you
Are you after the whole thing?
Was quoted over $1,200 from VW. I wouldn't bother except I was travelling for work and they will pay the excess and there is no change to my rating so why not.
Unfortunately I hit a small animal on the freeway last night and there is some damage to my R36.
The brushed metal look insert of the front grill/bumper assembly has a crack in it at the bottom. ...
I've only got 2, intention being to put them on the front wheels.
4 would be ideal but I'm hoping 2 would be sufficient for going up most Australian ski mountains.
I've got a set of these for my R36. Have only dry fitted them though, not used them on the snow so can't comment on their performance.
They are pretty straight forward to fit, a little tight to...
Hi All,
I'm an R36 owner and usually frequent the Passat section of the forum.
I'm considering a Tiguan for my wife for a family run around. MY11 onwards, not manual, leather ideally (seems...
