Based on your 12 month / 15,000k service interval the A3 oil is the correct (and more economical) choice. I use the Edge A3 in mine.

Not sure about our Polos but modern cars sometimes use specialty single-use fasteners for the seats. I couldn't recommend you do this if you can avoid it.
Well, they also apply any applicable service campaigns and wash the car. You're just lucky they don't try to tack on a few unneeded extras like a "coolant flush", as Continental Cars does in...
I think you're lucky to get any financial assistance at all from VW and should let it be :)
IMHO, those made after the "oil" recall (2013-ish?) are just fine, particularly with less-powerful engines. I'm amazed how quite and smooth it is (other than at parking speeds) considering what...
At least the older 6-speed DSG used should be an improvement in reliability despite the additional maintenance required.
First, I don't think it's practical or even safe to change the mechatronics hydraulic fluid. It doesn't seem too difficult to change the gearbox fluid but both are optimistically intended to last...
Mine is dead quiet. Have you opened the hood to investigate?
Ditto. Do my own work, keep receipts, check off all the required items and usually sign the logbook myself. Wasn't a problem when I traded in my Suzuki for a Polo at the VW dealer.
For the first...
I think you would not be disappointed with the 81kW 1.2 TSI.
I noted the 1.2 81kw Cross Polo here has larger front brakes than the 1.2 66kW Polo and smaller than the GTI.
Did you find the answer to that or did he just drop a bomb and walk away?
Good advice ... it pays to avoid mixing coolants unless you are dead sure they are compatible. Obviously document what changes you see in preparation for the service, perhaps each day when the car...
Perhaps they have pushed the limits in the GTI, although I saw no similar issues on full throttle acceleration on the new car, and my 1.2 Polo's DSG shifts silently although it still has low kms....
Not sure if it's relevant but I test-drove a new Polo GTI at the dealer 2 weeks ago, 26 km on it, and it had a slight shudder at low speeds (~10 kph, cold engine) that my late-2014 polo 1.2 81 kW DSG...
I think the dealer may be correct based on what I'm seeing in the parts list ... although there must be a way to do it and the oil p/n is indicated. Ignore the image in the previous post, that was a...
Yes, only thing is there is a lower spec transmission that does not have these plugs and does not appear to be serviceable. I posted that pic of the next model or two up so that OP could look for...
Without better information from you I can't determine if it is or isn't serviceable. If it is, the drain plug location is obvious. Why not just contact the dealer and ask them?
Someone might be confusing it with the DSG. I'm not 100% positive since I don't own one but it should be simple. Stick it up on ramps, pull the plastic underside cover off and have a look for the...
Sorry to be flippant but how hard can it be? Find the drain plug and then install a 75w-90 GL-4 full synthetic, or if you're really fussy the VW-specified gear oil until it overflows from the filler...
Did you take a photo? I'm sure VW would be interested to know how something could be incorrectly.
My 2014 TSI has a belt, as do all late TSI Polos with the euro6 EA211 engine. There is no maintenance required however.
For the OP, if these are DSG I would be looking at examples not affected by...
Perhaps the bigger issue...!
I think my display warns me of this after I turn the key off.
Are you able to push the clutch right to the floor? No thick floor mats or such?
Just to be clear, 502.00 is an approved oil.
