Mine was purchased after sitting for 1 year. I was convinced it was bad fuel. Mine was new plugs first then leads and hole in the intake after the MAF.

i did replace the bearing.... i devastated.. maybe i could adjust it out?

After many hours fitting a new clutch to the golf on the weekend i could have cried today when i noticed a super slight flutter/ shudder apon the clutch pushed all the way down.
I have never heard...

My clutch broke and it appears to be the original.
My chains were according to the service history on the car done with in the last 40,000kms
