Do GIAC have one?
Hey guy's,
FOR SALE: 2009 MY10 118TSI
Year: 2009
Color: Candy White
Km's: about to hit 118,000Km
Power: 117.5kw at the wheels
Condition: overall great condition. Well looked after and we'll...
It's very much a fuel economy and Turbo Anti Lag measure. Because our 1.4's have a K03, it will spool a bit latter than a 2.0L engine can spool it, they chuck a super on ours to negate that
Supercharger turns off at 3K Rpm... It's only a slight dip in power when it does but it is noticeable on a dyno (power curve flattened out and the raised a lot)
The fuse box.... Check the god damn fuse box.... In the side of the dash... Mine started today and it **** me.... Also my P3 rattled too both fixed with a bit of tape
It did when warm, but cold is still the same lol
They do idle like crap when cold but that fixes itself fairly quickly
Lol...
Try Joms maxed out in a 118.... One would think you're being jumped on by a thousand leprechauns
Mine also misfired in cylinder one
I got an EPC fault when I started up about 8 hours before I got a misfire
By rough idle I mean you can feel a slight shudder from the engine when you are stopped... Its just a slight vibration kind of that you can feel in the seat... and then it will misfire eventually
Rough idle, eventually jerky when at WOT.... And then misfiring.... I put VW ones in as the R8 and 2.0L ones DONT fit... :( if only they did.... Can't find any good aftermarket ones
I cruise at 60 in 6th because it likes to... I do believe that the 7spd sits in 7th from 55km which strains the engine
You stand uncorrected :P Manual life :) pretty lucky I guess... Punchy as crap too :P coil pack only started to really give up after a mountain run
It was stock until 80xxxkm, that's when I got it tuned got new sparks and coils at 100xxxkm.... They hadn't been replaced since ~50-55k km
It had the update ecu flash in 2010 and it is currently stage one giac and have only had a coil pack go
And I'm still running the first mk6 2009 ones :P
Mate, coming from experience, my 118 requires more than 30 % throttle if you want it to fly.... She is most likely mashing the pedal and that's when the wheels spin, looking at 15PSI with the car not...
Mine is a gen1 mk6... Apparently it is according to VW service records and local VW dealer
Hey guys,
As the title states I'm looking for either and R or GTI Rear bumper and an intake for my 118TSI Mk6
Pm me
Regards
Will
That's really expensive.... I found an engine for $1000... Would be cheaper for new engine!
Checked with VW, mine have been succeeded and mine haven't been done by VW since 50k km
Well I probably don't have them lolz.... I think this hit 60k like 2 years ago
Still :P
