Do you an LSD?

I’ve got a 3” dump into 3” 100 cell cat, standard rear section except for straight through muffler. Too loud for me, hard to say whether it is restrictive though as I’ve never tried a 3” rear.

Polo’s aren’t that heavy. I personally think that the stock brakes are fine for street use up to stage 2 so long as you have good pads and discs.

Interesting finding with the seat which is why I went with the 75mm core for mine. It makes sense since the seat is a 60mm dual pass, so each pass has a similar x sectional area as the stock unit but...
Which do you find better for steering feel? the RE003’s or RSR’s? I found the Kumho KU39’s better for feel than the RE003’s which really surprised me.

Rgvlee, are you stage 3 now?
Power = v^2/r = 12x12/330 = 0.43W, so 10w should be ok :)

Ended up getting the RE003's. Grip in corners is much better than the 4yo KU39's I had. Feels more progressive too. Surprised how much quieter and more comfortable the RE003's are. Less steering feel...
Unfortunately rsrr's don't come in 205/45r16
Some conjecture around the wear rating, apparently a lot of manufacturers just changed them so that the tyres could be used on US production car...
The pd160 intakes aren't smooth either. The eBay convoluted pippes are so much bigger than the afm that the ribs won't matter. I just used the convoluted pipe and lots of black duct tape at both...
The covers just pull out after the screws are out (well mine do anyway, but I may have broken some clips ...) Then you need a torx set to take out the fog lamp assemblies to change the bulb.

Just noticed for the first time after 3 years that the recommended pressure on the fuel cap is 38psi....I'm assuming that's a cold pressure? Been running 34 for some time now. Tried 38. Steering much...
Grippy?

You getting the rsr's from tyre power?

Ah, thanks for that. Surprising that 10mm more tyre width would mean a wider rim. No track work for me, just want a really grippy street tyre in the dry.

Hmmm food for thought ... thanks!

Did you find out more about the 615's? Turns out that I can get them for $149 fitted (215/45r16)

Good to know that it wasn't just my car (thought maybe that it had been in a bad smash). I ended up mounting my 75mm thick cooler way to the left side as i didn't want to cut the crash bar.

Does the space between the front bar and the condenser / radiator get narrower from the left side to the right ? (I see you've trimmed the bar to fit what looks like a 75mm thick intercooler)

Keen to see if you can feel any diff with the upper brace

:) lesson from car audio days. Those fat cables burn good without a fuse

Hmm so 205/45 to 205/50 is technically illegal (+20mm) bugger.

Oval straight through Rear muffler alone didn't make the car much louder. Changing the cat after that did... (for me anyway)
