Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure exactly what you mean. This is whatI am after:53373
Hi All,
I have a missing/lost key blade insert for my R36 2010. I see them on ebay from the USA and China but hoping I can get one locally. Does anyone know where I can get it please?
I have been having a look at the two suggestions from Kamold.
The RCD330 is a possibility. It looks like that may cost around $900 for the unit with accessories and a camera would be extra again....
Many thanks. :)
So it seems, as I feared, I am being unrealistic on the cost.
Roughly, what sort of $ would I be looking at for your first option?
Hi all,
Can I ask for recommendations/advice please?
I have a 2010 R36 wagon, which was ordered by the original owner with the standard radio (310?) but is apparently fitted with the premium...
Does anyone know of a 50w or 55w ballast that can be swapped in to upgrade the HID headlights. (I am assuming stock ballast is 35w and I am pretty sure the stock globes will handle 55w fine) I am...
Forgive my ignorance, for a fellow Candy White R36 wagon owner :) , can you explain what this new panel is and does?
During a recent trip to the snowfields, snow entered under the side panel behind the engine and filled to so much that it tore off it's mounting bolts. I think this may have been as a result if the...
Is this guy still in business and are to units he is now selling viable?
I note that the last question in this thread to the OP was over 18 months ago and there has been no answer. I have come back to this thread after about that time after deciding the head units needed...
Yep. Golf R Wolfsberg Wagon may well be the replacement for our beloved R36 Wagon in a few years....... :toast:
Scandal, Shmaldle...
Who gives a toss? The Diesel emissions standards for the US were/are very difficult to meet. The authority said they had to do a test and pass it. VW formulated a plan to PASS...
OK. Thanks guys. Great to know! :)
No idea what those things are. Would most brake specialists have that or is it just VW dealers?
OK. The tyre placard in the fuel filler lists 235/45 - 17 as alternative so I knew 17 would fit. I found and bought a set of 17" x 7" alloys from a Golf.
They fit fine.
They have 225/45 - 17 tyres...
Cheers mate. I had a look, nothing yet but will register and ask the same question. There is some discussion of snow tyres for 18's but that still ,eaves me with very tight chain clearance. I would...
The Diamond pattern chains I have used are excellent. Very much better than the old ladder chains. Unfortunately, they are an absolute pain in the arse to fit and they have scuffed my wheels...
That would be great but they are not permitted to be used here at Mt Hotham. It's diamond pattern chains only.
I'm very interested in any info on better lights/globes for exactly the same reason. I came from an XR6 Turbo that has much better halogen lights than the VW Xenons! Especially the high beam!
I scuffed the standard alloy wheels a little with snow chains last week and i'm not too keen to use them again.
One alternative is to fit smaller, narrower, steel wheels with snow tyres so I can...
Sorry, Wrong forum thread. Moved.
I am led to understand that to increase the light output, the globe is not changed, the ballast output is increased.
Is it possible to get higher output ballasts for the R36.
My experience is...
Ahhh, that might explain a few things! :-)
So do I understand it correctly that all R36 came with the 10-speaker stereo with an 8-channel 250w external amp as standard fitment sound system?
It...
Hmm, on closer inspection it looks like I have 9VQ also. Very hard to read!
Did yours come with a Bluetooth module? If so which one?
Looking under my drivers seat there is a black box attached...
