Sounds like a fun project.
I always wanted a turbo vr6 but life got in the way.
Now I'm selling the vr6 engine and all parts for a vr6 conversion for $900 :(

I agree with stephen.
When they are well maintained, they can be great.
Hoses, plastic housings etc will be on the cards plus whatever else is needed to bring the rest up to scratch.

I saw that car listed yesterday.
