Isn't that like a 10% discount already given the 110TDI with DAP is about 50k DA?
Anyway went and looked at a 110TSI with the family today and they are thinking about getting one with DAP and...
It does have the keyless entry & start as all Golf GTI/R have it now AFAIK
Can't pull out of side st quickly in the wet with my GTI, spins the wheels and TC will cut power. Also the dreaded axle tramp is worse in the wet.
But that doesn't make sense as the 40 Years model is going to be a limited edition. They should be able to sell them reasonably quickly unless we are getting a big allocation.
Apparently they did hit sth, one of the passengers posted on WP
So how much discount did you get in terms of % DrK? Would you be kind enough to PM me your contact too?
Burwin VW apparently have the Golf R already in their showroom, going to go for a test drive...
Have to be careful when pulling out of side streets fast in my GTI lol, tyres lose traction easily if I'm not too careful (even though I'm running near new Goodyear Eagle F1A2s).
On a day to day...
The A250 is also a nice car at a good price. However after test driving both the A250 and the new GTI, I felt that neither of them are that much better than my Mk6. Just makes me appreciate my Mk6...
I think you got confused. I'm talking about the electric lumbar adjustment that came bundled with leather seats in the Mk6 along with seat warmer. Actual electric seat costed extra.
In the Mk7,...
The Mk6 leather seats came with electric lumbar adjustment. The new Mk7 has manual lumbar adjustment but they made it cheaper at $3,150 instead for $3,300
I agree that the R might be the better option this time around, provided that it is well priced still!
Went and test drove the GTI yesterday, definitely pulls much more effortlessly with the extra torque. I found the progressive steering to be too light in normal/comfort mode though, sport mode was...
You might as well wait for the new R with that kind of delivery times lol
Got the Goodyear F1A2 last week.
So far so good and it's more quiet than I expected it to be. Good grip in both dry and wet and the ride is slightly better too.
Did you get an alignment down when you got the new tires? My tires were noisy at certain speeds and it was found to be out of alignment.
VW did a short presentation on the Golf R at IAA, nothing we don't know about it though.
+1 Where is the R gonna sit with the supposedly 'moderate price cut'?
With this amount of kit, the RRP won't be reduced by much if any at all!
Well this buy 4 pay for 3 promotion is now on for Goodyear! Good timing for me as I need to change mine. :)
I think $35,990 is more likely
Looks like the R has LED turning indicators within the headlight housing?
I agree does not look that aggressive (GTI appears to be more aggressive in design) but I still like the look regardless.
You can option real leather on the A250. They have 3 option packages which are all priced at $2,990 which are quite reasonably priced I reckon. Command package, leather package and the convenience...
If you want to keep the extra 2 years of warranty then i would suggest u stick with the dealer. The condition for the extra warranty is to use dealer servicing i believe.
Does that mean the GTI PP will come with DCC standard as well?
