Never looked at the nudge bars that way before...

I reckon they would do considerable panel damage if you ever "nudged" a vehicle. Vehicular blunt force trauma...

You can occasionally pick up ex-ambulance or ex-Police nudge bars made by ETT at the wreckers. I have even seen the odd one pop up in Gumtree...

I replaced mine "just" before it failed ~50k mark. Lots of slop in the bearings. The water pump was a time bomb ticking away...

It helped destroy any remaining faith I had in the T5. :(

The fuel consumption of the 4x4 is the only thing turning me off that model.
