I went to Frank to have a stage 2 paint correction done on my brand new car followed by the Always Dry self-healing coating. I had previously had several other cars in the family treated variously by other practitioners using Ceramic Pro and Opticoat plus. I can certainly attest that Frank's workmanship is unsurpassed and the coating he used - at least in my experience thus far - is also superior to the other competing coatings I have previously mentioned. Washing the car was always easier with any of these coatings to begin with but with the Always Dry coating, it is even easier again, so slick and repellent to dirt is the surface. Frank was a fantastic person to deal with and exceptionally flexible regarding drop-off and pick-up times - something I greatly appreciated given that it was a near 4-hour round trip to get to him (I live in a rural area). He even sent me exceptionally high quality photos of the car in order to showcase it's appearance once the work had been completed. I cannot recommend Frank highly enough if you care about achieving the best quality paint correction and protection and particularly if you have exceedingly high standards - Frank in my experience will meet them and probably even exceed them. Forget about the cost - yes, the work is expensive but like anything else worth doing that also requires considerable skill and experience, you get what you pay for!

Quality workmanship and excellent service. We had multiple vehicles worked on by Frank. Each were black and with years worth of swirl marks. All were delivered back in showroom condition. High attention to detail, he even wore gloves to make sure there were no prints left behind. My little pearl white pug (Peugeot 208 GTi) was 2 years old when I brought it to Definitive Car Detailing. That's where I met Frank, the owner. My car was in desperate need of repair relating to defects in the paint work, deep below the clear coat. Frank was able to not only repair the defect in my paint work, but he restored the appearance of my car to a far superior level of what it was when I bought it brand new! Had Brila done on my 1-year-old black Mazda 3 SP25GT over month ago. The job was fantastic, car looked glossier, you could see a lot more metallic reflection in the paint. Better than when it was picked up from dealership. Dirt doesn't stick to surfaces easily anymore, I don't have to wash the car that often, and also the washing and drying is easier too. Frank is a great guy to deal with, professional, enthusiastic and patient. He also was honest about how my car would turn out to be, as I already had some little scratches and stone chips. Only thing to regret is that I didn't do it right after I bought the car.

I am happy with the paint protection (Brila Premium Body Glass Coating) for my F87 M2 (Long Beach Blue) last week. Frank is such a nice guy. He is patient and always happy to answer any questions customers have regarding paint, paint protection. I asked many questions regarding the process, details about the paint protection, even how to properly wash cars, all nicely answered. BTW: It turned out that the previous owner put clear protection films (track pack?) on the front bumper, engine bonnet, rear view mirrors and side skirts, Frank told me how to take care of those and what to do if they fall off over time. The body glass coating can still be applied on top of those films (not too sure about how long they will last and the difference though). I highly recommend Definitive Car Detailing to car enthusiasts (I believe it is already one of the best in Sydney by word of mouth).

Frank is the real deal. Car came out pristine and (only two weeks in) but water is sheeting off the car and it's a pleasure to clean. I've put spray on, diluted ceramic coatings on my last car that didn't get any near the depth Extreme Dry has on my white car. Prep beforehand was amazing too; two-odd days from driving out the dealer I've got every faith I'm going to be saving full detail, prep, and re-application of cheaper (non-pro) coatings for half a decade... I spent quite a bit of time researching the best ceramic coating product. There are a number of products out there claiming theirs is the best one. The conclusion I came up with was that the one thing more important than the ceramic coating product is the way the product is applied. This is where Frank stood head and shoulders above the rest. Frank is a perfectionist and his methods are exacting. His meticulousness was evident in getting the car’s colour correction right, which is a critical phase prior to applying the coating and locking the colour in. The result speaks for itself. Based on word of mouth recommendations, we took our BMW 330i to Definitive Detailing for an 'Always Dry Extreme' treatment. Surface preparation is incredibly important when applying these types of products, and Frank is a perfectionist. Frank came highly recommended to me by different friends so I thought I would give him a go with my new car. Firstly, he's so hardworking, I met to make a booking with him in a few weeks time but then someone cancelled on a Sunday so he called me and I took that spot. Secondly, he introduced me to a new type of ceramic coating that is self-healing, looked very promising from the videos I researched online, so decided to go for this option. I was a bit skeptical, but after seeing the finish on another car, it's got more of a gel-like finish than the normal hard glass finish of regular ceramic coats so I can see how this would work like self-healing film. After picking up the car I was very happy with the work, he got everything looking amazing and I also had the wheel faces done too. This has made washing the wheels so easy compared to before. Frank is great to deal with, hard working, has great attention to detail and he gave me a loan car to get home with too!

If you are looking for the best place to get a protective paint coating for your car this is it. It's easy to see that Frank has perfected his craft over the years and is very knowledgeable in what he does. I first went to Definitive Car Detailing back in 2014 to get my brand new vehicle paint-protected and I was very pleased with the experience and results which I could appreciate when I cleaned my vehicle afterwards. Ten years, later (2024), I have gone back again to Frank to have my next new car paint protected. I'm very pleased to say that the experience has remained consistent! Frank is very professional, and takes the time to ask all the right questions about the vehicle usage, storage, cleaning routines etc. to assist in choosing the right product to apply. He goes into a lot of detail in his explanations and is always open to questions you may have. This leads you to make an informed decision. It's also appreciated to have the option of a loan vehicle for the day. And I think that having photos and videos of the finished detailing is a very nice touch that provides evidence of his attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Frank has worked on 3 of my personal cars now. He is careful, meticulous, and honest. He will try and understand your lifestyle, and how you use / expect your vehicle to look and cater a package to suit. Additionally I feel he is price competitive, although I don't really even bother asking elsewhere as I know my car is in excellent hands.
