Geez. Nobody says hi. It's hailing so I hope you're not driving in it.
    Had it for 8 years
Buddy at Jade Auto smoothed and colour matched the valances when the were doing work for the Gatsby stuff.
Custom Antenna. I took it off my left hand drive 2003 24v VR6 GLI.
Got sick. Didn't really do much. Got better and molested it.
Re-did the entire suspension. New control Arms, bushings, coilovers, pretty much just replaced all.
Had to pay cash to get 195/45R16 put on stock 16s.
    10mm spacers in the front.
    15mm spacers in the rear.
Haladax is dope! GLI had more pull from the start, but this walks M4 P platters if any corner are involved.
    Hella Horns
Hella driving lights / not fogs. Australia doesn't have fog, but turn off a main road. They're aimed down around 4300k and the cut off is about the front plate height.
BMW 50W in the turns. They hyper blink. I'm lazy to put resister in.
Sylvania or what're the best H4 bulbs in the US. Just buy the $10 ones at big W. Add relays to your lights. It's why I use the hella driving lights.
LED crap in the head light fog. You can only see it at night. The halogen look much better. I have the hella driving lights and fogs on the fog switch...
T10 I found this awesome 7 watt Cree that looks like a white dot. They cost three bucks, but last about 3 months.
Rear, I had nice LED, but honestly. Halogen light up the housing better.
    Break/driving is halogen.
    Signal is BMW 50W LED
Rear fog 3W Cree Red led. The housing is small and it's different colour than the other red.
Reverse are 6W Cree White. The fill up the housing and look white.
Normally I wouldn't go LED with an OEM look, but it matches the colour of the car and all the new cars have it now. Mines just a small dot. Not a row of them.
In the morning I throw the driving Cree in the headlight dot and everyone sees you.
Interior is all cool LED. I did it 8 years ago and it never looked rice. Got sick. Never chained it.
Wood interior trim. I had fish eye brushed aluminium in the GLI, but this car has different character.
Changed the auto mirror with an Audi auto mirror. Works heaps better and the view is your whole back window.
    4mo stick shift.
    Dash looks like new.
Leather seats don't look 15 years old.
Got some stuff rubbing off around the controls. Dish water will take car of it.
    R pedals.
    Extended antenna.
    4 fobs
    Vag-comm
DG skid plate. I really can't go any lower. It's a VR6. I roll parramatta.
DG sigma six short shifter - watch me

Interior looks like new. Black leather, fake wood trim, light ceiling.
In the US, the headrest would be beetle head rest. The MKIV were solid.
    Three spoke wheel.
    6speed manual
    Heated seats mirrors
    Blue tinted aspherical mirrors
25% silver titanium tint (you can't get the same stuff as the us) this was the closet I could get.
    Trunk lighting.
    new CV joints.
    New battery.
    Used alternator.
Just the basic stuff we do.
Didn't wanna spend the money on BBS, roll my fender and go threw that drama. Saved money and stuck with the OEM. I actually think they look better than my 18's.
Do miss having a nice lip though.

    Anywayz 130km
Timing chainz haven't been done. No rattle, but they haven't been done. Can barely hear a rattle with the hood open and it hasn't been started. Did the top tensioner, overflow pump all the black deals that need to be replaced with light green. Got everything I've taken off it. Lamin-x on the roof for the OEM roof racks. Think it even has the interior motion sensor alarm or I got a module and put it in from Germany. Euro cluster. Please ask a question. I've only meet 3 other cool dubbers in Sydney. Kevin at Macquarie uni who has a 2.8l vr6 and an MKV R32. Anybody out their whose car doesn't scream JDM?

    GLI had 18's
Scirocco had 16x8 with some serious stretch, camber, spacers, and rolled fenders. Yes it rubbed.

Here's Dave's 20th AE that was behind it. He got the first one in the US and got in a car pile up right afterward. He got a carbon fibre bowser and R bumpers before the R was released.
