GTC Wheels GT-CX model (exact same look as VMR)

Hi everyone

I have always liked the look of the VMR V710 look. But just last night, I came across a brand in Clayton, VIC called GTC Wheels selling the GT-CX model that appears to look exactly like the VMR V710's!!!! And they are going for $999 for a set of 4!

Does anyone know anything about them and their quality? I can't seem to find much info abt them except for this:

Reportedly <10kg's whereas equivalent from VMR are reportedly 11.5ish...
Note, my VMR's were $999 also, just had to pay 400 bucks to get 'em here...

Hahahah woohoo!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one looking for a "cheaper" version of VMR's.

Search eBay for "GTC GT-CX wheels Tiguan" and u can see pics. If u jump into VMR's website and see the V710's w this GT-CX wheels side by side, it's exactly the same.

So far, I don't think they do 20's mate. Only 18's and 19's it seems. Who's keen? Haha I wonder if this could be a start to a GB???? Haaha

Yea Matt. I'm sooooo tempted. I love the V710 look. Yes I understand its the shipping that would make it more expensive. With a local shop in VIC, it makes it soooo tempting. I could safely say I'm leaning towards this GT-CX wheels 99%!!!

Guys,

I have got a reply from the seller at Euro.Division on a potential Group Buy for a set of 19" GT-CX wheels. This is what he says:

"If you can get 3 Sets or above we will offer them for $900 each."

They don't have a physical store but a warehouse in Clayton VIC. They are solely an online biz.

Does this tempting to anyone here???

Pls let me know so that I can get the numbers up!! I'm excited!!!

I have these wheels; hes a good seller & the product is awesome. My GTI looks wicked.
I believe these are original VMRs hes brought & had to do a name change for some reason...
