yeh sure did, got a whole lot done, need to finish one finnicky part of the rain tray then its done!

colour choice is between florida blue or guinea blue. Solid colours will be easier to touch up

    I'll get some photos up!

got bored of the 8v. So tried Flintstone power on for size.

Didn't really work. Was slower than before, so I thought I'd try shoe horn in something a little more fun.

    anyone guess what it is?

while I was at it, cut the rust out of the rain tray and welded it up. Still in progress. This photos from the underside. Its not all that pretty, but gasless MIG wire leaves a lot to be desired. Once the tacks are ground back, I'll try hit it with the TIG for a nicer finish

more photos to come. After rust in raintray is done, the car is going to be blocked back, hit in high fill again then I'm going to shoot the colour.

And just for fun, a mate asked me to try and weld Mild Steel to Stainless. So I gave it a shot. Could be a little neater, but I'm a bit out of practice

Should be an easy task to get it ready for the VW Nationals.

21 days to go so pull your finger out.
