Arctra, Brundle was saying that when Webber took off from the pits, he had too much wheelspin which may have contributed to the incident. (and that my have been caused by too much dust.

i suspect this is one incident where it might be difficult to apportion blame.

Having said that, a drive thru penalty is worth at least 20 seconds (or more), which would have put webber in 4th spot.

I feel sorry for lollypop man either way, he must be feeling very down right now

With a DNF next to his name, Button did the best overall for the Championship!!
Have to agree with Matty, Spa is an amazing course!!
Barrichello was lucky to hold off Rosberg and Webber on the last 2 laps...seeing him drive down pitlane with his car on fire showed how lucky he was.

Just off topic...slightly, did anyone watch the British Touring Car Championship after the F1 on One HD?? Pretty entertaining stuff!! Jason Plato off 5th Gear races in a Chevvy Lacetti. Anyone know why VW isn't in on this action? Golf/Jetta??

    Cheers,
    Jayse.

i think that would be webber's big advantage to take some points off button, which is a shame he didn't get any points. the good thing about this one though is the championship is still open and 4 drivers are fighting for it, and it's going be more excitng.

Yes Jayse i did watch the BTCC. awesome racing, more excitng that V8's. do you think?

About VW. not sure about that, may becouse they already running formual 500 or formula VW in europe?

vag did compete in it in 97, 97, 98 iirc through the a4.
ballast was forced on them. quattro eventually banned. They won and proved their brand then pulled out.
VAG/Porsche/Audi has done this alot. Prove something, win a championship or two then shut the programme

Word on the telecast is that Vijay Mallya (owner of Force India) will lend him to Ferrari as thank you for an engine deal that Ferrari let them out of earlier to get the better Mercedes engine.

    We'll wait and see though..

I reckon it was pretty exciting but were they showing you the full race or chopped up higlights?

Don't know if it overtakes the V8's tho.
