    SEAT Cordoba GLX 95

Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with the fan switch only working on speeds 2 & 4 and aircon - normal switch does not appear to return to off position - any ideas how to tackle this, I have Haynes manual which really does not explain how to check or eliminate those types of faults.

Yeah the fan switches play up on the Seats and Golf 3s.

Changing it is the easiest fix. I have some in stock if required. PM me.

Or just use speeds 2 and 4

I too am having fan issues on my '95 Ibiza. Unfortunately, none of the fan settings work, and this morning, i started to get smoke from the vents, and a distinct smell of burnt toast!

Either i have a toaster under the hood, or there's a bigger problem. I'm thinking electrical burn out of some sort.

Anyone got an idea or some advice?

    Cheers

Probably the switch also. You could take the glovebox out and apply power to the fan.
If that works its the switch.

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure where the fan or switch was located so i'll check that out. Are you able to get the parts for this?

    Cheers
