    Goodbye Roc

Sorry to say that after 4 years and 100,000 KMs that my beloved roc and I are parting company.

Never had an issue and would have kept it but those long doors and small carparks dont mix all that well (hard to get squeeze in for us short fat fellas)

not moving too far away, new S3 sportsback coming soon.

The S3 feels and goes similar to the roc, so the choice of replacement wasnt too hard..... good luck to all you roc owners.... its still an awesome ride and I will have a tear in the eye as I hand over the keys........

Congrats on the change. You did double the kms I have done in the same time, so you clearly got good use out of it.

Mine will go very soon too. The thing that makes it so hard is the styling. I can't say there is another car under 100k that appeals to me as much. But I feel the platform is getting tired.

Finding a replacement is so hard and I do believe it's a classic car, time will tell.

yep your right, is a classic and still gets comments everywhere I go, but I think going a bit more under cover will help keep some points....

I was going to buy an A45 but it didnt feel as quick as the roc, whereas the S3 feels so familiar but lots of upgrades as well, including a sun roof that actually opens.....

interesting comments ...i am currently tossing up between a GTI PP and Rocco ...I dont have the need for passengers so the Rocco seems to be the obvious choice for its looks alone.

    +1 ............ and the SOUND !!

The big doors are a bit of a problem but well worth putting up with the inconvenience
as are the seats, as in getting in and out - I'm an old fart - wife has real problems too ....
but very comfortable once you're in the beast
if you want to make it look REALY different ............ add GTS stripes

    Well that says it all
Magic colour and it doesn't need stripes
Pity it's no longer available here - although it would have made my choice a lot harder
Really like the stripes but think I would have gone for the Viper
