i would recommend to spend a bit more and get slightly better coilovers, i have the fk street line and i absolutely hate them. The handling was fantastic but i hated the ride comfort, and one started to leak after a year. Ive currently ordered some weitec to replace the fk

I've got the FK konigsport coilovers in our jetta which have damper adjustment.

I've got KW coilovers myself, I saved up my dollars and went all out with V2 LE's... bloody fabulous!

Have been in cars with hottunings and they dont seem that bad either.

    Go for something quality.

    Look at Brands like:
    - KW
    - FK
    - Weitec
    - Koni
    - Bilstein
    - H&R

Remember the suspension is the bit that connects you wheels to your car, having quality, comfy, responsive suspension is a must. And if you want to run a "slammed" car getting some good coilovers will keep your girlfrinds happy with a comfy ride.
    Braaaappppp.

Pff you need better girlfriends. Mine would like sit there and giggle while bouncing down the road with the hottunings wound down to the bottom of the thread (without helper springs or bump stops) and encourage me to lower it further. haha.

Wasn't particularly comfortable though. And handling takes a hit when you're that low too, considering the slightest bump makes you bounce and lose grip. I actually named a road near my house decpetively bumpy road... it was the smoothest looking road you'd ever see, but my car would disagree. haha. Oh and forget going anything over like 140 like that, it just gets pretty ****ing scary as you really have little control.

Also I haven't actually seen my wreck yet, but in the report it says the suspension is damaged, so its possible that maybe one of the coilovers blew out which is what caused the car to rip a tyre off and go flying off the road into a pole.

I shalln't be cheaping out next time thats for sure.

Wow - that suprises me, I really think ride quality is pretty good! maybe I need to try some kw's for a comparison! Although mine could be slammed way more.
