Bora V6 Coolant Temperature Sender Location

The temp gauge on my Bora has just failed (stays down at 90, moving only slightly when the ignition is on).

I suspect that the sender has died.

I've located the sender for the cooling fans, but cannot find where the sender for the coolant temp gauge is.

I've got a US workshop manual for V6 Passats, but this does seem to help me in finding the sender on the Bora.

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers

i assume you are after one for a vr6 bora?

i guess the info you have for the passat may be the audi 2.8 v6 or something like it?

Yes you are right. I would like to get my hands on a manual for the v6 4Motion bora (2.8L), or even the 4Motion Golf would probably help. Some sections of the Passat manual do help, but wiring is not all the same.

    Cheers

Yeah thanks, Brenton told me that too. Its a damn shame as V6 audis are getting cheap if damaged.
