    WILL BOTH BOLT DIRECTLY ON!!!!!

    This is correct it will work, you need the pump and the sump, and it will give you probably a 1 inch more clearance. But don't forget its aluminium which means its proned to be destroyed alot easier.

    BUT...its higher than the subframe...so in theory it will be fairly impossible to kill it!!!

    Just to prove again that its a definite fit and note that you dont need a gasket! So dont buy a new one, just goo...

    afaik theres a shallower sump than that from vag.its almost half the alloy sump with a steel plate as a base. A friend is using one on his bora but mostly drilling $1 hockey pucks and lifting the engine is the way forward helps cv angles etc as well

    imma bump this up,

    My sump seems to have taken a scrape too many and I think its leaking a little (something is, will have a good look later). Will probably just try epoxy-ing it up for the time being, but for future reference, where would one buy these parts?

    Try your local stealership, but be prepared to bend over!
    Try the US or Europe, might be a fair bit cheaper even with shipping.
