Will the plastic zip ties be happy inside the rad or do you plan to switch them out for metal ones? I have no idea how hot it gets inside those fins but would hate for a failure there.
Side question.... am I reading that temptation-to-install correctly... i.e. you have a schrick intake that suits an R32?
Whole month of Drama's.
Finally got a fuel rail sorted.
Been going around in circles with electrical problems.
No fuel pump, dodgy tps etc.
Stem of all the problems ended up being that the megasquirt had 'lost' the firmware from sitting for so long with a dead battery in the old vr.
Reinstalled firmware, loaded tune on and presto. Fuel pump primes as should.
Fuel rail still needs to be delivered then it's a matter of fuel, bleed the brakes and a re tune to suit the bigger cams/intake manifold.
(Fingers crossed) That is all that is required.
Well. Fuel rail not exactly sorted.
Got it today and it's the wrong size. So now i have about 1300 fittings to make it work. Hopefully turn key by end of the month (when adapter fittings arrive)
Winner!
Have a few little things to do, then trailer to shop to make the mid section of exhaust, intake pipe, throttle cable bracket and fuel rail mounts.
The noise time. I hope!
schweeeeeeeeet!!!
Pretty.

Nothing else has taken place. Been injured and unable to do anything.
Picked up some stratos tails off Ray. Few more to go on the collection yet.
Swapped the rear bumper to the textured one i had from the other vr6. Removed the dead weight reo at the same time.
Watered off some dirt and put my optikwerks side skirts on too.
Mid may is when there is enough free time to tow it to the shop to do the remaining fab stuff.
So so keen to cruise in this thing.
