Hey guys I have had my vr6 for about 4 months now and am wanting to get a major service done. I live on the central coast and was wondering if anyone can recommend some good mechanics around here. Mainly because I wanna make sure they know what they're looking at. If only Camden GTI was not so far away

i do my own service and smaller jobs from home, i do however take my car to Matt at Camden GTI for the bigger jobs and i have nothing but great things to say about them. Can't help you with a good mechanic up your way but Camden GTI get a thumbs up from me .

yeah been thinking doing stuff myself is probably the way to go but i really dont know to much. the only reason im asking is because my parents have had issues with people who claim to be 'euro specialists' and all they ended up with was temporary fixes and a thinner wallet.
