    so other fun facts are:
I have 1 out of 4 bolts on crank pulley,
electric fuel pump, old one still attached but plugged back so need to get delete for it
    electric distributor cap,
    no fog lights, just covers
dual headlights aren't connected. just low beam
driver side skirt not secured, missing side skirts covers...

also running rough when moving as in losing spark...so need to check timing...

that's all at the moment, any input is welcome

    thanks

so the has become a queenslander...

the problem was with carby....taken out, cleaned up and we good to go.....
it ran great for few hours....it was believed to be starting of fuel....fuel pressure went up from 3psi to 4 psi....still running rough when u flatten it....half throttle you can go all the way up in revs and if at any stage after 3000rpm u decide to go full throttle it starts to choke...

good news....cluster board work once again as we have been guessing the speed i have been traveling... was off by 10-20 kms especially in 4th and fifth....

bad news....i have been smelling some exhaust fumes inside the cab...

few spelling mistakes...in the post before, but it will happen every time I don't proof read it....oh well...

moving on.... few thing that I have done is carbie clean up, instrumental cluster working once again,
drivers door handle replaced as it was broken and all the other locks replaced including ignition barrel...

if u never did ignition barrel before
Early mk2 ignition cylinder and ignition switch removal & replacement
    great step by step place...

next step...cancelling fumes coming into the cab and fuelling under load or full throttle...

if anyone can tell me how to fix my problems please do, otherwise I will be moving at my own pace...

    quick update....

fitted hose from rocker cover breather to underneath the car....

next problem splatering under open throttle:
    1st - change driver - still there
2nd - change fuel filter - still there
next try to find choke as mine is disconnected, fingers crossed

When you've got the choke connected take it for a run with the choke on and see if it revs properly. If it does then you're running lean.

Also check the distributor is clean inside. Any carbon build up will cause problems.

Another trick is to start the car in the dark, lift the bonnet and see if there are any sparks along the spark plug leads, distributor or coil. If there are sparks replace your leads.

    Cheers

    Paul
