Another GTI in Adelaide

Hi all, just paid in full and organised transport to Adelaide. This will be my first mk2 GTI, cant wait

Is it really a 16V ?

Nah, it's not, wish it was thou.

When he first sent me the pics I didn't see the engine bay but I saw the 16v badge and my heart sank, too good to be true for the money he was asking, so I knocked the price down a bit and got it.

That interior is schmicko and the seat fabric is not the horrid 'rainbow' pattern.

Thanks mate, nothing yet. It's my first so I'll see if the perfance of the 8v is anything decent, if not I'll most likely be looking for a 16v to drop in.

But that won't be for a while!!

How's the heater core and A/C?
