Gotta love the Diesel fuel economy

142km into freeway and chill and she give you that look that says I've still got 1,000km in me:

It's been a little while since we have been down into this territory, but at 167k the Multivan is still very capable, even with 5 people + luggage.

I love sitting in traffic with Mazda CX-9s who inevitably need to prove they have more "zoom zoom" than my Caddy (which they do). However, my Caddy is currently running 6.3 l/100km real world fuel consumption and a friend traded in his CX-9 soon after buying it because it was using 15 l/100km real world fuel consumption and he did not own an oil well.

Yes the real world fuel economy of a TDI is excellent, we are always between 4.8-5.3l/100km in the Golf

I have a lead foot car is revved out daily (135kw tdi) with wagon and awd weight i still get just over 7.1l/100 its fantastic 7.6 to 100kph no gti but as us diesel owners know the wall of torque is amazing tho i have found the high output motor is surprisingly rev happy much more so than my old 103kw mark 6 tdi love driving it

My wife regularly gets 1,050k's out of a tank in her 125 TDI Jetta. My Scout is tuned, has 200,000+k's on it and my long term fuel economy according to the MFD is 6.1l/100. And it very rarely feels slow, if you know what I mean.

That's a tad over the real world 110 KMH. The VW seems to add 5%. Holdens I have owned add 2 KMH. Interestingly Ducati, owned by VAG, tell you in the owner's manual the speedo is 5% optimistic.
