Pumpe Duse to CR , what was the difference

Guys , GF got her mind set on an EOS , had a look at one today 2008 TDI model 90,000ks , perfect VW dealer service record ,
recent cam belt change as well .

But when I started it it sounded louder than my Jetta Pumpe Duce model and it also ran not as smooth as mine.
Now I thought the CR TDI was to be quieter and smoother. this thing actually was causing small vibration throughout the front of car.

    Any comments.

How certain are you that 2008 EOS was CR?

The CR came in with the MK6, which started in 2009

Well Im not , I was under the impression they went CR 2008 , so if it was Pumpe Duse then why would it be so much noisier and rougher at idle.

How many km’s did the EOS have?

It could have been a bit more gunked up due to lower kms?

It has 89,000 k's on it , and yes it has been sitting around a while , last serve was 86000 but time before 84000
the last few years has been based on time not distance , so 2000km in a few years at one stage,

    Almost.

For Australia, only the BMN engine, the 125kw one that was in the Passat and Golf GT Sport had a DPF

All other Pumpe Düse engines did not have one
