What is the engine code that the injector electronics is most likely to fail??
VW50.
used BP for a while as I got a 25% discount, since my discount stopped I have used Shell. Never used an independent. Depending on the state it all comes from one or two places. BP source from Mobil in Melbourne, Sydney is Shell.

not been on the forum in a while...
a couple weeks back my Passat died at the lights. I thought it has stalled... thinks to my self "that's never happened before". I restart and I CHUG thru the lights only to stall again about 50m past the intersection.
The "glow plug" dash light was flashing and the car would turn over but not start.
Called road assist and car was towed to Berwin. They diagnose injector failure. As the car is in warranty they replaced all 4. It cost me a couple days car rental as they did not have a loaner available.
Warranty up Feb 2011 and I have 63K on the clock so far.
I'll be taking the extended warranty if I keep the car... thinking of getting an XC70.

The CBBB is related to the CBAB, which is known for intake flap and exhaust pressure sensor issues.
Given that yours appears to be an MY10.5 build, I don't think you'll have any issues, as the parts used to rectify the problems I mentioned have been since revised.

Hi
Does anyone know if there is a difference between new(upgraded) injectors and wiring loom and old injectors/wiring? The reason I ask is my car {passat 125 tdi 2007 my2008}has done 113000 km and i bought it with 83000Km and i had a lot of problems with it but i have no idea what work was done for previous owner so it would be good if i can visually identify it .
cheers
My advice would be to contact VW Customer Assist, and find out what warranty work has been done. The service book will tell you where it has been serviced, which, if you choose, you can contact, to see what else was done.
As for injectors and the wiring harness that fires them, it's inside the cam cover out of sight. The injectors aren't an upgraded part, they're an exchange refurbished part through VW.
