    Ignition Faults 2003 V6 2.8

I'm pulling my hair out over this issue so hopefully some one can help me. I have OBDEleven. It's reported a Camshaft Sensor is faulty. Replaced it. All good. It also came up with Ignition fault 1 2 and 3. Thought OK might be related. Nope still there. Pulled a plug out and found it was disgusting and old. Replaced them all and replaced the coil module. Still having this issue.

Now the thing that is really bugging me is the fact it drives perfectly fine. No engine lights nothing. I didn't do the plug leads yet but surely that couldn't be causing an issue. Or are they really sensitive?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Leads don't last forever. They do break down over time.

Worth throwing a set on it anyway, since you've done the plugs and module.

Yeah I will be doing it when I get paid for sure. I don't take the PO's word on anything any more.

Have you tried the water mist method to see if the leads arc when the car is running? very easy test. This guys shows it well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZY72644HSg skip to about 2 minutes

Finally fixed mine yesterday after months of misfiring, best of luck!

Yeah going to do the other cam sensor (the one at the back) and the leads. See how it goes. Has issues starting when hot so hopefully it fixes it.
